Exploratory French Competencies:
I. Use French language at the basic level.
a. Employ correct vocabulary: Uses vocabulary that matched the correct definition and context of given statement.
b. Pronounce accurately: Vocabulary is properly pronounced in French without the use of Anglicism (English pronunciation)
c. Stay on topic: The student’s speech is relevant to the topic chosen.

II. Demonstates understanding of Francophone culture at a basic level
a. Talk about and describe aspects of Francophone World
b. Participate in age-appropriate cultural activities
c. Identify social customs
d. Identify/recognize products of Francophone world


III. Integrates French with other disciplines and acquires information.
