5th Grade
1. Perform, individually and/or in a group, level- and subject-appropriate music
  • play ostinato pattern, using self-created instrument
  • sing with a group, maintaining timing and voice control

2. Compose and arrange music within specified guidelines
  • write new lyrics for a chosen melody, using a teacher-provided theme
  • create ostinato accompaniment, using self-created instrument
